Peacock is best known for one thing it has no competitor for: The Office, exclusively, for years. But the service is bigger than a single sitcom. It's the home of NBCUniversal — SNL, the Law & Order and Chicago franchises, Premier League football, WWE, and next-day episodes of current NBC shows.

The standout feature is the free tier. It's ad-supported and smaller than the paid tiers, but it's a real catalogue you can browse without a card — which makes Peacock the natural "first stop" for anyone testing a streaming service.
